Lago di Sorapis Hike

The trail to Lago di Sorapis is famous for its unreal turquoise water, set against sheer limestone cliffs. While the hike isn’t overly steep, it does have some exposed sections with fixed cables, adding a bit of excitement.

Seceda Ridgeline Hike

This hike takes you to one of the most dramatic viewpoints in the Dolomites. From the Seceda ridgeline, you’ll see the famous jagged peaks of the Odle Group. You can take a cable car up to shorten the hike if needed.

The well markes path of this picturesque hike winds through forests, alpine meadows and rocky terrain. It offers jaw-dropping views of the Odle massif. Along the way , hikers can stop at traditional alpine huts (refugios) for refreshments.

  • Distance: 9 km (5.6 miles)
  • Difficulty: Easy to moderate

Today hikers can explore remnants of bunkers, trenches and tunnels adding an historical element.

This demanding hike is suited for experienced hikers offering steep ascents, high ridgelines and rocky paths with sections of light scrambling. Hikers will pass through alpine meadows, rugged scree slopes with breathtaking views. This hike is a true high altitude experience.

Catinaccio & Vajolet Towers Hike

This is one of the most spectactular and challenging day hikes in the Dolomites. The hard rated trek takes hikers through rugged terrain with steep ascents and exposed rocky paths. The highlight reaching the Vajolet Towers (Torri del Valojet), a dramatic group of needle-like limestone spires, sharply rising from the landscape. The route starts with with a steady climb through alpine meadows and rocky paths that lead to Rifugio Vajolet and Rifugio Re Alberto, two famous alpine huts. beyond the refugios the path becomes more technical with steeper sections and scrambling to reach the base of the spires. proper preparation and gear, plus an early start are essential when tackling this challenging but breathtaking route.

  • Difficulty: Hard
  • Elevation Gain: 1,050 m (3,445 ft)
  • Track Conditions: Steep ascents, rocky paths, exposed areas

Croda da Lago & Lago Federa Hike

This stunning yet challenging hike takes hikers through dense forests, rocky trails and panoramic ridgelines. The trail leads to the pristine alpine lake – Lago Federa, surrounded by towering peaks and larch trees. An early start is recommended along with being prepared for changing conditions.
